Non-topological logarithmic corrections in minimal gauged supergravity

A bstract We compute the logarithmic correction to entropy of asymptotically AdS 4 black holes in minimal $$ \mathcal{N} N = 2 gauged supergravity. show that for extremal computed near horizon geometry agrees with result full up zero mode contributions, thus clarifying where quantum degrees freedom lie spacetimes. In contrast flat space, we observe supersymmetric can be non-topological as it is controlled by additional four-derivative terms other than Euler density. The available microscopic data and results 11d supergravity indicate topological, which suggests topological nature corrections could serve a diagnosis whether low-energy gravity theory admits an ultraviolet completion.
